Ale Paul is an art director and typeface designer who co-founded Sudtipos, an Argentinean type foundry collective. An impressive resume of high profile client work has earned Ale Paul several awards and recognition, including being featured in publications such as Eye, Communication Arts, Print, Creative Review, Visual, Creative Arts, Novum, among others.
A series of posters advertising Paul’s Hipster typeface recently caught my eye for both the typography and amusing messages! Speaking about the font he says, “Hipster Script is another of my habitual attempts at trying to reduce the divide between manual and digital. In this case, I try to articulate brush lettering, try to get the computer to emulate continuous painting.”
